LONDON – Duffel, the travel-tech platform, has partnered with Robinhood to power the flight, hotel and car rental experiences at the heart of Robinhood Travel.

Unlike a standard, white-labelled travel portal, Duffel’s customisable platform gives Robinhood Platinum and Gold Cardholders direct access to a full and embedded travel booking experience and rewards.

With Duffel Flights, Robinhood cardholders can search and book flights from 500+ airlines. With Duffel Stays, they can access 1.6M properties and hotels globally, and with Duffel Cars, they will be able to rent cars in 40,000+ locations across 200 countries via 40 global providers including Avis, Hertz, Sixt and Enterprise.

Platinum Cardholders can earn up to 10% cash back on hotels, 5% cash back on flights, $1,000 worth of credit toward hotel and travel, access to 1,400+ Priority Pass airport lounges worldwide, alongside 1,700 premium properties that come with additional onsite perks, like daily breakfast for two and room upgrades when booking through the Robinhood app. Gold Cardholders benefit from 3% travel cash back through the same Duffel-powered experience and 3% cash back across the board.

Duffel then handles every stage of the process, including 24/7 servicing and traveller support, and the whole experience is managed natively inside the Robinhood Banking app.

Pushing the boundaries of premium services

Robinhood’s credit card and banking business continues to scale rapidly, with more than 1M+ Gold Card customers, over $17 billion in Robinhood Gold Card’s annualised purchase volume, and a banking product that has attracted more than $3 billion in deposits since launch.

Its latest offering is the Robinhood Platinum Card – an invite-only, premium credit card and rewards program designed to raise the bar for what a premium card is capable of, with higher credit limits and a growing list of top-tier benefits that put luxury travel at its core.

By partnering with Duffel for this flagship launch, Robinhood is underlining how strategically important travel has become to its ambitions. Rather than treating it as a bolt-on perk, Robinhood has chosen to invest in a fully embedded experience, one that sits natively inside its own app and is built to scale alongside the rest of its product suite.

It’s part of a wider trend of travel becoming an increasingly important driver of revenue, loyalty and engagement across industry. Over 90% of Duffel's partnerships are now non-travel brands, spanning rewards platforms (Bilt), spend management tools (like Rippling), financial services (Robinhood) and more. Growing demand recently saw Duffel pass $1Bn in TTV run rate for the first time, with 85% of its volume coming from the US.

“Travel needed to be deeply integrated into the Platinum and Gold Card experience, rather than bolted on as an afterthought,” said Deepak Rao, SVP and GM of Robinhood Money, Robinhood Gold, Growth, and Marketing. “To achieve that, we needed depth and scale, and that’s exactly what Duffel delivers.”

"Robinhood is building something genuinely ambitious – a premium card proposition that can go toe-to-toe with the best in the market. Travel is central to that, and we're proud to be the infrastructure making it possible," said Steve Domin, co-founder and CEO of Duffel.
